Research & Development
The two main thrusts of CTI’s R&D are data and information management and signal processing.
Areas of research include:
- Enhancing the detection and
discrimination of targets through the
utilization of multiple displaced sensors - Applying information technologies to
dynamically manage heterogeneous
sensors for the purpose of anticipating
enemy actions - Developing signal processing
algorithms in order to identify the locations of WiFi devices - Developing technologies for enhancing airborne networking
- Studying electromagnetic phenomenology, especially the effects of UWB interference
- Using Semantic Web technologies for the distribution of information to heterogeneous devices with deprived communications links
- Applying knowledge based techniques to manage and enhance the signal and data processing of radar systems
- Employing advanced waveform design for improving radar systems
